What you’ll do:
  • Own & actualize StoryTap’s vision for our Sales teams & strategies to achieve the company’s targets
  • Utilize industry experience and knowledge of market to prioritize opportunities and make introductions
  • Lead the Sales team in building and testing strategies to grow into predictable revenue
  • Help your team win business by reviewing pipelines, reviewing messaging, sitting in on meetings,  identifying opportunities and more
  • Assist in hiring and recruitment efforts which may include meeting candidates in-person, LinkedIn outreach, and conducting interviews in order to build the best sales team possible
  • Focus on the big picture and help create strategies alongside Customer Success to upsell and cross sell to existing customers.
  • Help motivate and drive the team on the entire sales process: from creating sales scripts & email templates, to crafting each stage and customer touchpoint of the sales cycle.
  • Prospect, engagement, and develop strong relationships within strategic partners
  • Enable StoryTap’s sales team to achieve and exceed their targets and quotas through teaching successful selling habits and holding your team accountable for quota attainment
  • Prepare  and share reports on your teams’ activity, quota, and pipeline, performance for transparency, decision making, and insights.
  • Understand the competitive landscape at all times, including competitor offerings 
  • Identify key strategic partnerships and relationships to work with 
  • Assist in developing and refining go to market plan for business
  • Represent StoryTap at events, speaking engagements, and conferences, as needed.
What you’ll need:  
  • 10+ years of experience leading Sales team in a high-pressure environment with long sales cycles and large enterprise accounts – Retail, eCommerce, Marketing experience  would be preferred
  • You’ve seen and led growth of a Sales organization from $1M ARR onwards – and you know what growing this stage of business entails.
  • You’ve held progressive roles within a sales organization , which means you’ve ‘been there, done that’ and understand the jobs as well as the nuances of each sales role.
  • Successful track record selling into Enterprise markets, and an expertise of execution on strategic sales
  • Demonstrated success in outbound abilities to convert prospects into leads
  • Experience motivating, coaching, and grooming a high-growth sales team
  • We’re a start up – naturally, all of us have the ability to both provide strategic, visionary elements to the role but also have the ability to roll up our sleeves and jump in when needed.
  • Familiarity with our tech stack including Outreach, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • A strategic mindset, and someone who is always seeking creative solutions
  • Extremely self motivated- a go-getter, who wants to work in a performance-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal & relationship building skills
