YouTube Just Announced Some Exciting News in Partnership with Shopify!
Launching the week of July 25, 2022, a new shopping on YouTube feature will become available. In partnership with Shopify, creators can link their Shopify store directly to their YouTube channel.
Eligible creators and brands can access live shopping tools to display products in their videos and live streams. Viewers can browse and buy products on YouTube in connected Shopify stores, video end screens, product shelves below videos and tagged products in live streams.
YouTube is also introducing a new shopping destination in the Explore tab that will feature shoppable content for viewers in the US, Brazil and India, with more countries to be included later this year. Additionally, in the US, onsite checkout is available so viewers can make purchases without leaving YouTube.
This new Shopping feature makes it easy for brands and creators to display their products on YouTube. A new ‘Shopping’ tab will be added to the YouTube studio where creators can manage how their products appear and how they’re tagged. Additionally, creators can tag products to live streams from the Live Control Room.

Shoppable videos give creators and brands a new channel to bring products directly to customers’ hands. In just one click, video viewers can see tagged products and get taken to a Shopify store where they can conveniently make purchases.
